Flowers and sentiments

Hi Folks...

Today i decided to make a card using only sentiments and flowers.

I'm waiting for my new Copic pens to arrive so i can have a good play and colour some of my delish stamps.

I think sometimes you can get away with not having a character as the main focus.

Birthday card

Today i made a card for a friends Sister, it is the first one this year that i have made for someone else.

I used lots of flowers from WOC, some really lovely lace also from WOC my irridescent paint to give the flowers some sparkle.

New baby bottle cards

Today i did something quite different, i made these darling little New baby Bottle cards.

the cards were made using my SVG program and a lot of help from my Son Josh who is a PC wizzard.

I used 300gsm cream card for the base card and some papers from various paper packs.

Die cut the ovals and decorated with florals and lace.

The sentiment is CG

They measure 7.25" tall and 3.75" wide.

I made the boxes to match.

  I made the inside to match the outside

 The butterfly is a Marianne design

 The lace and flowers are from WOC

 The inside has been left blank

Here is another LOTV card.

This is a pretty image from LOTV.

my only criticism is that the image is very pale.

I really should have touched it up with my Prismacolor pencils before i made it up.

anyway i have used some papers from the Kanban Birth and celebrations kit, and shimmering cream hammered card.
The card is 5.75" square.

Here is yet another LOTV card i have made.

This time it's for a boy.

I used papers from a stash i had, gingham ribbon,  

and the lovely LOTV image that i had ages ago.

I used shimmering brown card for my layering, it just added a little bling.

It was defo my LOTV week last week.

Here is another LOTV image. sooooo cute and just too perfect for a Birthday for adult or child.

the backing paper is from Kanban (Its actually cardstock) its lovely and shimmery.

 The Butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch as are the leaves

LOTV someone special card

Here is another LOTV card.

The papers are from Magnolia from a 6x6 pack 

The card is a Lilac 6"x6" card
For a special someone.

 I used a pretty satin flower mixed with some mulberry flowers and lace bow.

 At the bottom i have used a metal embelishment flower and some lace

 inside is decorated to match the front.

Baby Boy card

I'm not a fan of card kits, but once again this is a card made from the Kanban Birth and celebration kit.

I havent done much with this one, i thought i would make it up as it was designed.

there isnt much else i could do really apart from bling it up a bit with some florals and ribbon.

its quite a large topper and sits on this 8"x8" card quite tightly.

 The little bunny is quite cute and is 3D, as are all the letters

 The letters are all glitter so i just added a gem to them to bling it up a bit.

 All the little elements are 3D

NEW BABY GIRL

This is a pretty New Baby girl card.

The image is from the Birth and congratulations set by KanBan.

Ive had it for ages, but only just looked at it properly.

The papers are from magnolia tilda

the sentiment is a LOTV stamp.

 I added these lovely pearls from WOC they are just divine.

 The flowers are from WOC and i have glitzed the up a bit.

 The lace came from spain.

I found this amazing haberdashery shop in Benidorm and bought tons of lovely lace

LILLI OF THE VALLEY BIRTHDAY

Here is another LOTV card i made this week.

again this is a 6"x6" card layered with assorted flowers, lace and die cuts.

I cannot think where the papers were from. 

i just love the LOTV images.

 i used my dnynamo for the sentiment, i think it looks quite nice.

the twine is just a nice touch too..

LILLI OF THE VALLEY CARDS

Well ive been busy making some cards this past week.

I have really enjoyed getting back into the swing of things.

I have been inspired by LOTV as they have always done the cutest images.

This card is a Birthday cards for a boy/man.

 I used shimmering blue card for the layering, with blue buttons and twine

 The papers are from the Tweedies collection by Abigail mill sold by Crafters Companion.

the inside of the card is decorated to compliment the front.

The card measures 5.75" square and comes with a made to measure handmade box

HEART BUNTING

Hi Folks.

well i have been busy again this week.

I was trying to figure out how to make a bunting out of my beautiful filigree hearts doilies.

so out came my old faithful cutting machine, and i set to work to make a backing templateto for the hearts, using my Inkscape program.

I used Kraft card for the backing as i wanted a shabby chic look. i used my xyron machine to sticky back the hearts, it was a bit tricky as the hearts are so thin, so i had to be careful not to tear them. then i set to work doing what i love....decorating.

I finished off with metal eyelets to make it stronger and then used jute twine instead of ribbon.

i hope you like them, i thought it looked very pretty and very unique.

DOILY DECORATION

Hello Folks.

I have been having a bit of a play with some new doilies that arrived from America.

they are so cute and small.

dont they make pretty little decorations to hang in a window or just about anywhere.

I used 6 doilies to make this hanging decoration.

They measure 3.5" or 9cm.

a piece of twine and two wooden beads.

MY PAPER LACE DOILY BUNTING

Hi Folks, Happy new year to you all.

I have finally got around to doing some crafting this year, and decided to make my version of a doily bunting.

you do see a lot of Doily bunting, but they are usually just a round Doily folded in half and put on string.

so i decided to do one using my 5" square doily.

here is the end product.

notice the centre....room for lettering which is my next one.

I have these bunting for sale in my eBay shop in assorted colours.

 

New Doilies arrived

Happy New Year to everyone.
