LILI OF THE VALLEY BABY'S CHRISTENING EASEL BOARD CARD

Using a 8" x 8" Doily from my website poppyscabin
Well! talk about getting carried away....Yes i have definitely done that all right.
I am just loving doing my Easel board cards, and this soft Lemon is just too scrummy.
Today i have a LOTV stamp "Baby Christening"
I decided to make it for any Gender hence the Lemon theme.
I have coloured it with my usual Promarkers and Prismacolor pencils.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment with silver, coloured the Easel with distress inks and Crackle paint, added a touch of Stickles for a little bit of sparkle and a few mulberry flowers.
The cross i found in my stash (Body Art)
I cut the outer pattern from one of my 8" x 8" paper doily Squares and patched it up so it looks like a frame around the card. the leftover i am going to use as a backgound, so no waste at all.
Hope you like what you see....
This card will be available to purchase on my eBay store.
Hugs...

One day i will get me a light Box so the sparkly bits show up better!!!

Elisabeth Bell "Happy Mail" Easel Board card

Hi Folks!
This another EB Easel Board card that i made using one the toppers i made earlier.
I am so enjoying playing with the new design, and with Elisabeth Bell stamps how could they not be as cute as a button.
which brings me to this one.
This stamp is called Happy Mail.
I have used a Button to hold the card onto the Easel, it slides up so that the card can be removed.
I have left the card inside blank, that way it can be used for any occasion.
I have also added a little heart charm on this one and decorated the Easel with mulberry flowers too.
Pink seems to be the order of the day today.

Elisabeth Bell Easel board card

Good morning everyone!
Today i would like to share a new creation of mine.
Its an Elisabeth Bell Shabby chic Easel board card.
Elisabeth has been kind enough to give me her blessing and made some very complimentary comments about my creation.
I have used Elizabeth's Sublime stamp and coloured her with Promarkers and Prismacolor pencils, my favourite combination.
I used a die cut Easel and coloured it with distress inks, crackle paint and added a touch of iridescent medium.
I did the same with the layered backing.
The card is removable so the Easel can be used for other things.
Wouldn't this make a lovely gift card for any occasion??

I also added some Iridescent medium to the flowers and put pearls on the Butterfly.
Sorry the light is dreadful this morning so the photo's are a bit poo!, a gloomy day in store i think.
This card will be listed for sale later on my eBay store
Enjoy!

Elisabeth Bell card toppers update

Hi folks!
Just thought i would let you know that i have been contacted by Elisabeth Bell  re: my Card toppers which i listed on eBay.
Something i didn't check before i decided to list the card toppers on eBay, was Elisabeth's Angel Policy.
She was very sweet and kind about my colouring, but asked me to remove them as it is against her Angel Policy to sell card toppers (even coloured ones) Stamped Images or anything that is not a completed Card, and this has it's limits for commercial gain.
Please before you decide to list any item which carries her name or has her art work included, check out the Angel Policy first to make sure you are not in violation of any copyright or Angel policy breach.
Now! Back to drawing board....I feel several cards coming on....
hugs
Helena

Sugar Nellie / Elisabeth Bell

I think it must be the sunshine which is inspiring me to do more colouring than ever!!!
I have been lucky enough to have won a few new (Or old timers) Sugar Nellie Elisabeth Bell stamps recently, and because i have wanted them for so long decided to spend some time doing some colouring.
I thought i would list them on eBay and see how they go.
I really enjoyed colouring them in, They are just the cutest.
they are: Pickin Apples, Daisy, Planting some love and Happy Mail.

Baby Girl's First Birthday card

Wow! what fantastic weather we are having, Sunshine, Sunshine and more Sunshine.
And what could be more perfect to make a card with than all the soft pastel colours.
Here I have made a Baby Girl's First Birthday card using pretty pastel pink papers.
The Card is 8" x 8" and was a pleasure to make using a large number from my Cricut Cartridge.

Sugar nellie Daisy card

This is one of my most favourite stamps "Sugar Nellie Daisy" I just love her so much.
This is an Easel card that i made for my Best friend Annie's Birthday back in April.
Colored with Promarkers and Prismacolor Pencils.

Pickin Apples

I was thrilled to have won this cutie stamp off eBay, i had wanted her for ages.
Now i have coloured her in, i am not sure what to do with her.
I am getting a bit bored with the usual 6x6 cards and toppers, so i am thinking about different ways to use the images.
This image was coloured using my Promarkers and Prismacolor pencils.
I just love Lilac and Blue, they have to be my fave colours.
Once i have decided what to do with her, i will add another post....keep checking in.
have a good day!

Just another little card i wanted to share with you.
I just simply love the Elisabeth Bell characters, they all have such a sweet and carefree look about them.
and these new papers from Bearly mine are just simply beautiful.
This is a card for a friend of mine, she has a cat which she adores, so i thought this would be perfect for her.

Reef at the Dartford and District Horse show

Now there is something crafty about these Pictures...Some beautiful deep green Organza Ribbon in Reef's Tail.
As some of you may know, i am passionate about animals, and i thought i would share a little of my passion with you.
This handsome beast is one of our babies.
He is called Reef and is a young Fresian Colt (Stallion) aged almost 2 years.
He is being put through his paces at the Dartford and District Horse show on May 1st 2011(Yesterday)  by my youngest Daughter Mari.
The Green Ribbon in his tail lets people know he is a young inexperienced horse and therefore could be a bit silly and excitable.
Can you imagine how big he is going to be when he is fully grown?
Just look at that ground covering, full of Buttercups, a picture in itself.

Big Present

I find it difficult to make cards for boys, but with this lovely stamp from Lili of the Valley it was simple.
It was Luke's Birthday, and i knew i had to make something befitting for him.
I used my Promarkers and Prismacolor pencils for this one, the shading was done with my pencils.
Who said Boys cards can't be cute?

In the Garden

I hope you enjoy this card as much i enjoyed making it.
I just love Sarah Kay stamps, this one is called "Elodie in her garden" she is just a dream to colour.
I used my Promarkers and Prismacolor pencils and of course one of my Doilies.
She just makes me feel so sunny and warm.

Sunset

Here is a little something I made earlier.
It doesn't always have to be about cards!
One of my favourite crafty things is Altered Art.
I did this on an A4 Canvas using my Tim Holtz distress inks and stamps.
I love to work with Canvas and this made a change from cards.
It is also a lovely gift to give someone (I kept this one myself)
I hope you like it.

Exploding Box

This turned out to be better than expected, instead of using the usual 12 x 12 card stock i decided to economise and use everyday A4. pink and white card.

open the box and inside you will see I have added 3 layers
The center piece was built up from a card tube and flowers added
I added die cut flowers, hearts, butterflies, dragonflies, and sentiments to each square.
If you would like the measurements please email me.
Happy Easter everone.
Hugs
Helena

Daisy

This is a card i made using my beautiful Sugar Nelllie stamp Daisy.

I coloured her with Promarkers and Prismacolor pencils.

I just love Brown's and Blues, and with the lovely Cerise tee shirt i think she really pops
